The Punisher: Warzone
I've been dreading to see this movie since I heard Kurt Sutter quit the writing team and Tom Jane quit the cast.
Here's the trailer. I'm not that eager to see it but I will anyways cause I'm a big fan of the series.
Your thoughts?

Looks pretty decent. Ray Stevenson looks exactly like the comic book version of Punisher. Might be a pretty cool action flick.

Wow, it looks terrible.
I mean . . really, really terrible. The first Punisher was nothing special but it was fun, this one just looks idiotic. The dude just doesn't look like the Punisher to me.

I completely deviates from the style of the first one judging by the trailer. It looks very melodramatic and it has an undertone to it that just seems so fake and makes it look shallow. I could be judging too soon, but my instincts tell me otherwise.
It does not have the same grudge and attitude that its predecessor smashed us in the face with.

I won't be seeing this. The first was dark and well done but changing up the cast really throws things off for me.]
As for that trailer.. the guy playing the Punisher doesn't even look like the comic version. They had it right the first time. They should have paid to get Tom Jane back. This just looks stupid.
I won't waste my time with it.

The first Punisher was awesome because Jane captured the essence of the Punisher. He was the good guy and played it well but then became the brooding, skin-crawling nightmare of evil-doers known as the Punisher. The movie fit the tone with it's incredible soundtrack, shot sequences, and action scenes. All in all, the first Punisher was pretty damn good and people were enthusiastic for the second one. However, I have to say all of my enthusiasm is now gone.

Eh, well you guys have a point. Old Frank Castle is a good example of an anti-hero, but like I said it looks like it's decent. I won't be going to the movies to see it, but it looks decent.

The first was great and I'm really pissed that Tom Jane won't be coming back for this sequel, I think he portrayed Frank Castle really well, and it's ashame we won't be seeing him in the second one.
The second one looks decent, I probably won't go see it at the movie theaters but I'll defenitely watch it when it comes out on DVD or Satellite.

Like Italiano said, it looks like a whole different style, much more comic-like than the previous one. I had pretty much the same thoughts he had when I watched it.
