Should Bat-Girl Be introduced into Nolan's Batman Films?
We've had the dicussion about Robin, so what about Bat-Girl?
She's got to be in it sometime because she plays an important role in Bruce's life later on as (probably not a spoiler) Oricle.

Batgirl is so much later in the Batman continuity, that Nolan could easily never introduce her. He doesn't even have to introduce Robin, who came way before Batgirl IIRC.

No.
Gawd no. Perhaps years and years down the line when another director decides to try his/her hand at Batman, but in the current generation, no. Nolan's universe has no room for fruity sidekicks.

Barbara was shown very briefly in Batman Begins, IIRC, during the scene when Batman is in Gordon's backyard. She's far too young to be anything more than a background character at this point, though.

Hot chick in tight rubber suit... DO WANT
The new Batman takes place when he starts out. Robin is still a kid and same with Barbra. They are trying not to add anything that deals with the last two movies from what I have heard.

Catwoman would make more sense than Batgirl. I don't think Batgirl would fit into the next movie very well. They are going to have to bring in up to two new villains as it is. They don't need to overdo it with new faces like Spiderman 3 did.

I can't see any one coming with Batman at this point. A sidekick would make it more Joel Schumacher than I care for plus it's too early in the timeline for a sidekick.
It would be too awkward and I think Chris O'Donnel would have to kill himself.

No, I even think Robin would be a massive risk unless he was done very carefully.

I don't mind the idea of cat-woman as long as Hallie doesn't play her.

Batman doesn't need a sidekick in my opinion. Especially a Bat-Woman, I think it would ruin the series completely. I don't want Robin to join force with Batman either, but I much rather have Robin then Bat-Woman.
