Gyllenhall? Really? I thought she was the weakest link of the film. She was dry, lifeless, and just generally seemed like she wasn't that interested in being on set.
That's what I was trying to say. I would have voted 10/10 if someone else had been cast in that role (not Katie Holmes, either).
Anita: if she were in front of me i would punch her in the throat just b/c of the way she types
Batman The Dark Knight broke Box Office records this weekend. They broke the 3 day gross record of 151 million previously owned by Spiderman 3 by making 158 million dollard, and they also broke the midnight showing record of 16 millon previously owned by Star Wars by making 18 million dollars. I'm so happy they broke those record it's not even funny. The funny thing is that I trully beleive they'll have another crazy weekend that might even break more records.

I voted 9/10 as well, because of Gyllenhall as well, Cons said it perfectly, didn't seem like she was that interested in being the movie. I believe Katie Holmes did a much better job. Also I didn't like Bale's voice when he portrayed the Batman, sometimes it was very hard to understand. But other then that it was perfect.
"How to hit home runs: I swing as hard as I can, and I try to swing right through the ball...The harder you grip the bat, the more you can swing it through the ball, and the farther the ball will go. I swing big, with everything I've got. I hit big or I miss big. I like to live as big as I can." Babe Ruth
I went with 10/10 because it is the best movie I have seen in a very long time. It trumps Iron man and the hulk and I couldnt really think of any ways to change it that werent because of what happened with heath ledger
I was curious to find out what were your best scenes from the movie?
1) I'd love the scene when Joker got caught and brought to Jail, that whole scene was just some of Heath's best work in the movie in my opinion.
2) When The Joker is driving the big 18 wheeler truck and it flips upside down, then he gets out of the wreckage and he starts shooting at Batman while driving his Bat Bike, then he says C'mon hit me. Just wonderful.
EDIT:
3) The Magic Pen scene was surprising and awesome, it sent a tone of how the Joker was going to be during the movie.
What about you guys?

Definitely his "Magic Pen" Scene. I wont soon forget that one what so ever. Another great one that has been mentioned already was the classic depiction of the many faces of Joker, he's walking from the Hospital clicking the detonator and its not going off. Then it does and he gives that sort of leap of excitement.
Also did anyone else notice that scene where he is on the boat with the money and for some reason or another he just randomly jumps on that one person and starts **** slapping them like crazy? hahaha classic!
Counting down tothe return of Supernatural:6 days 19 hours 5 minutes
9/10 because of the Batman voice. It really bothered me.
But everything else was perfect, the guy who played Dent and Heath were superb.

Agreed. For some reason Katie Holmes was universally disliked as Rachel Dawes in "Batman Begins" but I liked her just fine and don't see what was so terrible about her performance. Maggie Gyllenhaal was okay but just that: okay.
I just got back from seeing that movie and all I can say is that was the most thrilling, most serious and at the same time most ****ed up movie of the year. It was definitely better than Batman Begins, by a long shot.
I was pissed that Rachel was killed from one of the Joker's tricks and Batman went to save Harvey instead.
Oh yeah, and some of the audience cheered in that scene where Batman flipped the truck over on his motorcycle and then almost did a backflip off the building side.
That said I might even go see it a second time.
Best part of the movie: not a single cell phone went off, amazing.
