Regardless, he's powerful enough for me to question the potency of the 'cure' on him.

Then again, in relation to the question of his power level, the movies don't exactly follow canon, do they? I think of many examples where they don't.
I am the only one of my kind. An oddity; unique. An abberation. Do you know what it's like? To be utterly alone? So alone...Is it any wonder I scream with rage and sorrow?

That is pretty true. I like the way they measure mutant powers on the comics better. Powers are pretty much measured by severity of abilities. I know Magneto would be considered severe and Jean's of course would be considered Omega level.
