What's Magneto gonna do with no powers?

X-Men Origins: Magneto
Also, I totally forgot about CountingDown until today and found the one for XO: Wolverene.

"X-Men Origins: Wolverine" explores the claw-wielding character Wolverine's violent and romantic past, and his complex relationship with Victor Creed and the ominous Weapon X program, as well as his encounters with other mutants.
|
And, to answer my own question, Hugh Jackman will be Wolverene.

Even though they are making a X-Men Origins: Magneto, did you see the ending of the X-Men: The Last Stand? He was playing chess by himself and moved the metal chess piece with his hand. Pretty much telling us that serum of theirs wasn't permanent.

Either the "cure" wasn't permanent or it wasn't 100% effective on him.

I don't know if it happened in the comics or not, but on the cartoon when Rogue used to still run with Mystique they ran into Ms. Marvel and Rogue touched her longer than usually and took her powers while putting Ms. Marvel in a coma.

Now I understand why she can't fly in the movies. Awesome. Couldn't Jubilee fly, too? I'm a little rusty on my X-Men cartoons. This also reminds me that I want to see a CGI X-Men movie based off of the original cartoon series (not Evolution).

Perhaps Magneto was too powerful for the 'cure' to inhibit his powers. After all, he was pretty powerful.
It makes me think about how effective the cure would have been on Jean (or the Pheonix, technically). If Magneto, a level three, could recover his powers, surely on a level five it would barely take effect?

I am the only one of my kind. An oddity; unique. An abberation. Do you know what it's like? To be utterly alone? So alone...Is it any wonder I scream with rage and sorrow?

I thought Magneto was a four?
I had the same idea though, I figured he was too powerful for a "cure" to really eliminate his powers.
