Well since you are a fan of Gambit's I'm sorry to tell ya that he's no longer with the X-Men right now. He joined Apocalypse's Four Horsemen as Death then left and went AWOL. Wolverine has a cloned daughter named Laura a.k.a. X-23. Scarlett Witch lost her mind and wiped out almost every mutant on earth. Wolverine finally killed Sabertooth. Umm...... Cyclops and Havok found out they had another brother named Gabriel who pretty much went insane and is now the Emperor of the Shi'ar. Long story. William Stryker came back with a new cult called the Purifiers killing most of the students at the institute. Cyclops re-formed X-Force consisting of Wolverine, his daughter X-23, Warpath and Wolfsbane to get revenge. A baby was born with the mutant gene after the Scarlett Witch thing which makes her the savior of mutants and also set Bishop off to try and kill her because she was some kind of threat to him. He tried to shoot her and he missed and killed Xavier. Cable time jumped to the future and keep her alive with Bishop on his trail. Umm... yeah that 'bout sums it up. I'm not sure how much you've missed, but that's pretty much what's been going on.
