Marvel all the way. I don't like any of DC's characters (not even Batman, he annoys me, I know, I am a heretic). And the X-Men are awesome, as are many of Marvel's less well known series.

I like DC because they offer a sense of reality (insofar as superhero's can be realistic), but Marvel gets my vote because they're more fun, more awesome, and the storylines rock. My favourite characters would be:
Magneto
Spiderman
The Incredible Hulk
X-Men
Probably others, but I cba thinking right now

Marvel is great, they gave us X-men Spider man and the Hulky guy.
But Batman is just so badass, the batman cartoons were all I watched as a kid. But Batman is DC's only good comic hero so overall Marvel wins.

Marvel because they have spiderman AND Hulk while DC just has batman, It can be a pretty tough decision though cause batman was pretty good.

DC all the way, they have better writers.
Also the Vertigo comics I've read were far better than the Max comics.
