My first comic was an issue of Uncanny X-Men that my brother passed down to me when he was finished. I had been a big fan of the cartoon at the time, and got hooked on comics.

Shortly after, while sick with a cold or flu, that brother would bring me Spider-Man comics. This was right in the middle of the storyline in which he had a bunch of clones, which was fun but confusing! I was always a huge fan of the Scarlet Spider. Wish he'd come back in some form.

Been hooked ever since, but haven't bought comics in about 6 months give or take.

This was my first comic. I bought it sometime in the fall of '96. God, it feels like a lifetime ago.

I'm sure it's one of those Disney comics...mickey mouse/picsou. But the one I collected when I was young was Archie Comics. I even remember paying a ridiculous amount to get one of those 1940s edition and now I don't even know where I put it.

Man I bet that was a great story. I'd love to find that one at a back issue sale someday.

The first comic I ever had . . was a Sonic the Hedgehog comic. It was ritual. Every weekend, I'd go to the grocery store with my mom and get a comic.

..hm. I don't remember. Could've been Something called Agent X9 - it was a collection of Modesty Blaise, Rip Kirby, Pia Zawa, Largo Winch, Torgal, James Bond, XIII, and so on. (I used to steal them from my brother :) ).
