Re: Umm GROSS!!!

If you click on the "Weird Stuff" section in Ebay (or whatever it is called), you get a whole bunch of really XXX rated pictures staring at you. And there are all sorts of things showing. I have no problem with porn. I have a problem with porn out in the open for anyone to see. It's not in an adult's only section.

Re: Umm GROSS!!!

There used to be this one seller that would sell children's star wars toys with a blond chick. She would pose with the box between her legs or some other provocative way where you knew she was nakiid behind the toy. I would scan her auctions all the time because i was blown away she was doing it lol. she even sold a CD disk of herself without the toys in the way. She no longer sells on ebay i guess they got caught lol.

Hmmm....let's see now...do I want the box that was stuck between some ladies thighs, or the one the seller took with the box sitting on the table?
Tough choice.............NOT!

Re: Umm GROSS!!!

I'm with you, AngelsPeak! I know that sex sells, which is bad enough, but to hawk it on eBay for items that are not targeted toward adults, shame on them.

Re: Umm GROSS!!!

I find this kind of stuff more annoying than offensive but I don't understand why it's not in the Mature Audience section. One seller even states in his auction that some of his stuff is adult oriented. I suspect it would stop if enough people reported it.

Re: Umm GROSS!!!

I guess everyone is looking for a angle. What also freaks me out is when people put their children in the auctions modeling something. I know they love their children but i would never put a picture up so some sickie can see my child! Its so easy for them to get my address!

It's amazing to see what lengths sellers go through to actually try and get teh attention of people browsing.

What baffles me the most is that artists are having their fairy sculpts pulled because some are displayed in the nude. Soooo, what eBay is saying is that dirty, nasty pic's put out there for anyone to see are okay, but ART in it's truest form is not?
I agree. That is no place for it. You can't even go to church anymore without someone wearing low cut shirts and blouses. EBay certainly woudln't be exempt.

Re: Umm GROSS!!!

Palefrost, I completely agree about these people who have their children modeling something. I would not put my kids pics up on the web unless I'm emailing them to my family.

Re: Umm GROSS!!!

I think ebay has gotten so big it doesnt have enough people to truely watch and police the areas that need it. They rely alot on people getting reported.

I reported a big scam ring and told them how to trace it back to this guy. Nothing was done so i guess they like those fees paid more then caring who is getting scammed.
