It is HORRIBLE for online gaming. You will have really bad lag. Think about it. Your computer has to send your game data to outer space and back to your ISP before sending it to the host server, then back to your ISP, back to space, and then back to you. You'll lag out of a lot of games if they are high bandwidth games. It would be fine for checkers and flash games for the most part. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news..
