According to an article in PC Gamer magazine, the way personality is set-up for the Sims is being redone.

If you have any interest in The Sims, then what sort of changes or additions would you like to see implemented in this next generation of this game franchise?

I would like to see themes and more online content. Basically, sort of like how MMORPGs play out except in a limited amount of space. Enough for you to build, walk around. Sim stuff, y'know?

Themes such as medieval, Halloween, Christmas, ect... Just a gimmicky thing to keep the game interesting throughout it's life.

This game has been announced for a while...

If you want to see some interesting information for it there's some here:

The Sims 3: First Preview

It looks pretty good actually. I haven't kept up with it all of that much lately, though. That may not be the newest preview by them.

I want the return of weather, because a The Sims game is just going to be unbearable without weather for me anymore. I heard that they aren't adding it to The Sims 3. >_>

I enjoyed Sims Two for the first few weeks after I got it. but with most Sims games I find it hard to keep interest sadly. Then Again, I have it on PS2, is the computer version different much?

Yes. So different it's not even funny. The PC (and Mac) versions of The Sims are superior in so many ways. The Sims 2 on the PS2 is actually very different as well. The Sims 2 on the PC or Mac is not run in first person... among other things.

So would you say that Computer Sims > PS2 Sims?

Your idea for Halloween and/or Christmas could possibly be used for a "stuff pack." Was there anything beyond "stuff" that you had in mind there?

Your idea for medieval, however, has full expansion potential. What sort of possibilities could be utilized in a full expansion for this idea?

This question is for anyone: What, if any, new socials would you like to see added to the game?

The release date has been pushed back to 2 June 2009.

The Sims franchise is ingenious and if I'm not mistaken The Sims remains the best selling PC game of all time. like posted above there is unlimited potential for expansion and 1 40$ game turns into 14 expansions priced each roughly around 30$... I would like to see a 7th generation console version but they would take up alot of memory.

What socials, that aren't in the game now, either could be added or would you like to see added?
