There were parts that I genuinely liked. However, for me and my friends that I saw it with, the bad far outweighed the good.

Well i actually kind of agree with vincent. See, i knew going into the movie that i wasn't going to like certain aspects of it (indiana jones really isn't "awesome" to me, it just "classic", you know? kind of hard to explain...) and i liked parts of the movie. But no question, it was my least favorite of all of them.

After seeing the movie twice in theaters I have to say that for the most part it holds up under a few conditions:

-First is that it's better to watch it with friends
-And second is that you should take it for what it is and what it acknowledges itself to be.

I'm sentimental at times and I really like it when a sequel recognizes and brings back the history of its predecessors in such a way where it makes you feel nostalgic. At the same time however you're still enjoying what's in front of you.

That's what Indy 4 did for me. It made me miss and believe in the old days but also enjoy it's own story.

Simple elements like bringing back Karen Allen as Marian or the scene where Indy is remembering Marcus Brody and his father. Even the cameo of the lost arc (which I knew they were going to do as soon as I saw the warehouse full of crates) gave me a little laugh.

Overall definitely not the best in the series by far, however I think it might be tied with if not better than "Temple of Doom", my least favorite of the Indiana Jones saga.

That being said, I'm waiting for the collector's edition DVD set of all 4.

I liked the film. A few things in it bothered me, like how generally indestructible the protagonists were (falling down three waterfalls with barely a scratch?), but overall it was a whole lot of fun.

That's the quota of Indiana Jones though. He's very... durable in most of his movies. He's not the most fit, but damned if he can't take damage and then some.

A few things that were poking my brain were all the errors in the movie. Apparently there were a lot more than I actually noticed.

I quite enjoyed it. It was entertaining and I laughed throughout. No, not a huge blockbuster, but a fun film and worth seeing imho.
