I just brush it off. I have several clients who love to flirt and I realize it's just them having some harmless fun.
I think it's funny when those same clients come in and are waiting for me and flirt with my co-worker who acts all offended after they leave. Personally, I think she's just glad for the attention and wants to make sure we all noticed it.
If it happens at the store or some other public place, I just smile and go about my business; unless the guy is creepy, then I make sure he knows not to do it again.

Dude, took you 4 years to have that eureka moment?
But yeah, you're not alone. I hang out with a friend who I thought was just being nice to me, for years. And I found out last year that he actually got wasted and depressed the day I got married. See, I didn't know about this or realise this could happen - and it's more than 4 years before I found out.
My worry about thinking a person is just being nice (when in fact the person is flirting) is when I'm nice back...the person might think I was responding to the flirt and is expecting something and will feel later that they were led on.

If someone was flirting with me and didn't know I was married, as soon as I realized they were flirting I would throw in a comment regarding my husband so they can gracefully back down without having to get embarrased.
Also, when flirting with guys pre marriage, I always tried to touch them whenever possible, I slight touch of the arm or shoulder or something, do people not do that normally?

No, they do...that's a good way to show interest I think. I'm not sure grabbing an arm is a good indicator but a softer touch would be a lot more obvious IMO

That is going on right now with a girl I work with... Constant touching or squeezing of the arm...I think she is/was dating someone...she could be really friendly and that is how I am taking it.
I dont want to misread something like that in a small office...Also I misread stuff like one other time and it was weird...
But man it's starting to skrew with me since it is happening more often and I am getting the nickname "Georgie" from her...
And so the game begins?...Im stuck on the first square deciding how to roll the dice or to just sit here.

Mmm, I'm a "touchy" person. I guess I should put a PSA now: In case we have a GF get together and I touch you, don't think it's flirting. It's just I tend to be physically expressive with friends.

pour on the charm that is george and see if she throws any comments your way about her boyfriend

Also, make comments about things you are doing or places you are going over the weekend. If she reacts with "Oh, that would be so much fun" or things like that, she's probably trying to get herself an invite.
