Haha, yes this is normally true.. My boyfriend and I are definitely the exception to this. I am the blunt one and he is certainly the elaborate talker.

Haha that doesn't sound tooo horrible.. unless you will spend 5 hours talking about it after that.. Especially after you had already talked to that person 24 hours a day for 3466 days straight about The Dark Knight.

I guess you would be disappointed to know I have yet to see that movie...

I'm a pretty elaborate talker at times, it's the curse of being an English major and a lover of language. Although, I'm blunt when I need to be. My girlfriend is actually pretty close to the same, she won't bull**** me and I like that a lot. I think it speaks to your character when you're able to say what you believe.

Nah, I usually won't talk about it for 5 hours unless there's some indication they care - either they also saw it, or haven't seen it, and have questions about it, or something. Although I might bring it up again 10 minutes later if I can find another way to sneak it into the conversation.

No, I'm not disappointed you haven't seen it - after all, you might be too poor to spend $10 on movie tickets. Or you might be blind, and thus think that you wouldn't be able to appreciate it. Or you might get claustrophobic in sold-out movie theaters. Or any of several other afflictions that might excuse you from having seen it.

Hah, us men don't like to make decisions, especially when it involves a woman. We know in most cases you will have something against our opinion so allot of times I'll just give myself an out and say "I don't care" or "I don't know".

And in the "how was your day" case, we just don't find most things interesting. So it's mostly just an average day, no reason to go into detail of how average it was.

Always depends on the person though, I'm sure there are guys out there that like to talk about things like that.

Lol well.. I am not blind and I can afford a movie ticket... I just tend to fall asleep during movies, so I rarely go see any because I know I can't fall asleep in the theater. Although, I am curious to see if it is a great as everyone says that it is.

I was also thinking.. These responses that we get from men may spawn from women giving men the idea that they have to give us "yes dear, whatever you want dear" type answers and just make us happy 24/7. So it is easier for them to just say they don't care or they don't know because then we can make the desicion and they assume that we will be happy in that case. Which is so wrong lol.

I doubt you'll fall asleep in this movie. It's intense. And there's a lot of surprises (assuming you haven't seen too many things that spoil the surprises). And the action is great, and the story's engaging, etc. You definitely should go see it.

Yeah, that's probably a part of it, at least in some cases.
