There is truth in that. I mean who wouldn't enjoy having sex? It's not much of problem if there wasn't so much pressure out there to have sex nowadays. Something like that is bound to make a lot of people frustrated when it comes to sex.

I'll concede the fact that you're quite possibly quite older than me (20 here), and even possibly married --> If so, you don't remember the kind of idiocy going around when you were younger?


If not (older/married/in a stable relationship, at least), then you probably haven't met most of society --> God, getting the ****s to SHUT UP about sex is the trick.

In a group, I could be talking about some sort of TV show, or my job, or something, and some idiot ALWAYS has to pipe in "Hurr, hurrrr, that reminds me of this one time... I was ****ing this girl... And she was all like... So I was all like..."


It's either that, or SOMEONE in the group is ****ing about all the qualities their boy/girlfriend is lacking that they'd like them to have, or how much of a psycho they are, or how much they just flat out hate them... --> So I say, "If you don't like it, dump their pathetic ass!"

To which, I ALWAYS get the reply, "but... but, but... the sex is real good..."

It's not that it's overrated. It's that unless you have sex five times a day, have a raging hardon 23 hours straight, and four lovers at any time who gush at the thought of you entering the room (with the latest aftershave, carrying a gun and a cooking apron) - then you're a failure, no? I mean, sex /can/ be really nice. But I'm sure the trick is to be happy with just being a good lover to your girlfriend, instead of wanting to impress everyone else..

(Of course - unless your girlfriend is a stupid **** who thinks more about what her friends think than what's going on between you and her, anyway... ..god, I hate girls sometimes.)

I always try to make sex about the girl, otherwise whats the point? If I was just in it to shoot, I'd stay at home and whack off, saving money, time, and effort. Not to mention the possibility of being mocked. My hand will never laugh at me....

No, I mean, if you live in the US now -- in the right places *cough* -- then your virility and aggressiveness is linked with your political and philosophical views on violence and guns and war, and so on. Meaning that you could well turn out to be an incredible lover - but your family, girlfriend, and her friends might still see you as a whiny little **** because you're not John Wayne.

And, on the flip- side, that means you need to **** five times a day with four different girls while carving your name on the chest of a terrorist pleading for his life, to be accepted as tough. Or even patriotic. Sometimes, you should be ethical and moral and marry and go to war, and so on, to match up. You know, the traditional national soul. Well, the only person I've ever had real sex with sucked at what he was doing and I didn't really feel much for him, so at the moment, I'm in the "sex is overrated club," but I'm sure if I do it with someone special, I'm sure it would be beautiful.
