Yes, I am talking about the human being that was created, as you well know.
But that's not even what this thread is about, let's keep it on topic.

Okay, but it's not a human until the 12th week.

Well, that's a horribly controversial statement. It seems everything you've said is horribly controversial and...well, immature.

Personally, I don't know how I'd feel if my wife had an abortion before we were together. That's a lot different than just having sex. I would actually appreciate it if someone were to make a thread about Nature vs. Self Control because I want to comment but don't want to get off topic.

Make this thread about abortion and I guarantee you I'll have at least ten other members calling for your ban. Please, stop being childish by baiting and stop derailing the thread. This one is about virginity.

To some people, virginity is important and to those that think that, is it because you view them as more "pure" or do you simply like the idea that you are their first?

Simple answer: no.

It's nice to be with a virgin but nowhere near necessary. As long as she hasn't slept with 15+ guys I'm alright with it.

For me, it has nothing to do with religion or anything, it's a matter of purity and dedication. As I said before, I'm not going to turn someone down who isn't a virgin, it's just something I'd like. To me, sex is a private and romantic thing between two people who dedicate their lives to one another. I suppose I put a lot more value into it than most people, but that's just the way I feel even through a childhood of divorce and separation.

Also, as I said earlier, you can't hold it against someone if they were just young and immature. However, if she is openly promiscuous then I'm not getting involved with that. I don't want my friends commenting on how good she was...

My views on virginity are definitely religiously based and due to that, I put a lot more value on sex and the purpose of it. I would not have married Knyte if he had slept around a whole bunch prior to us.

I use to believe that I would wait until I was married. Then I ended up having sex at 17. Honestly, I don't regret it. Coincidentally, I ended up marrying the one and only person I ever had full intercourse with.

To me, virginity shouldn't matter. If you're a teen and you don't want to have sex until you're married that's fine. Whether it's because of faith, or precaution, or merely because you just want to give yourself to your husband, it's your preference. My problem is with those who save themselves and then give you the whole "I'm better than you because I waited" attitude.

Just because a person didn't wait, doesn't make them lose value. I know a lot of ****es who were virgins and a lot of nice people who weren't when I was in high school (and immediately after graduating). I find it interesting to see how many of those who waited until they were married ended up getting divorces.
