A little objective research

I know I know... this is going to be about guns. I'm just curious with a new assault weapons ban being possible, which of the following should be on the list? And why do you think that.

None of them. The criminals will still use all of them even if they are banned. Why take them away from law abiding citizens? They won't be the ones using them for crimes no matter HOW easy they were to get.

Do you NEED a banana clip to go deer hunting? What, do they not die over there in PA unless their heads are sawed off?

This is nothing about hunting Tucker, I'm taking a poll to see what people think.

EDIT: and its not a clip, it's a magazine

The magazine does not effect the rate of fire....

[removed upon request of Pro2a... apparently I exposed the concept of this thread to early]

I wasn't aware that the M4 was available to the public.

The proposed assault weapons ban is just another one of those stupid laws

I own one, they are available. What is unavailable is a full-auto (machine gun) version. Semi-auto's are still legal.

none /thread

Also the ruger is adorable. And on a side note I wouldn't mind having an Garand.

Side story: my friends grandfather was in WWII and had a few war trophies. One being an old Arisaka, all of which got stolen when his house was broken into a few summers ago. It was a really neat rifle to see up close.

Humor me, Pro. Describe how a quick-attach 50-round banana clip* is necessary in hunting or home defense.

*Wiki thump: "The detachable magazine is often referred to as a clip; the correctness of this usage has been the subject of debate for most of a century."

Here we are once again, on opposite sides of the argument.

whos to say the magazine isn't useful when target shooting? I know less reloading while I'm on the range is always a plus.
