Gotenks' potential

I think that if Goten & Trunks had entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber a little earlier than they did they could've been stronger than they were when they fused inside & fought Super Buu. But to get to the main point, does anyone think that Gotenks could've been as strong or stronger than Mystic Gohan.

Personally I don't think so because they fooled around to much and didn't have the seriousness and determination to become an elite fighter like Mystic Gohan, but he had all those assests then yes I believe that he could of become stronger then Mystic Gohan.

Well Gotenk's total power depends on both Trunk's and Goten's individual powers.

So therefore if Goten and Trunk's trained some more, then of course.

Did you even bother to read the whole post? I said if he hadn't fooled around do you think he could've been as strong as Mystic Gohan.

Thats a tricky question. They were chilling on lv 3 while Johan wasn't. For all we know he may have been able to even go as far as going Super Sayan and going to God knows know. Hmmmmmmm I guess my answer would be no. They are to immature, and though they could be equal to or stronger their mentality isn't where it needs to be to carry them far and that is an important factor.

I say yes, but first Gotenks has a big mouth that gets him into trouble, and he's too reckless, also I was expecting to see Piccolo curse Gotenks out quite a bit b/c of his behavor. Other than all of that, oh yeah Gotenks could have been more powerful than Ultimate Gohan, or atleast as powerful.

Well thats easy Train. You saw how far Gotenks came in power in such a short amount of time, and I just ment the Utlimate Gohan we see facing Super Buu.

I think Gotenks already HAD surpassed Mystic Gohan. SSJ3 Gotenks was beating on Super Buu just as badly as Gohan had been. The only thing was SSJ3 Gotenks de-fused in the middle of his battle, otherwise, Gotenks would have destroyed Buu. Otherwise, it is really hard to compare the two's current levels of power since they both only had one battle in those forms.
