If you look in the pic I posted you will see my Big 57 Longboard and part of my old Simpson's Pool board..

I also have a Sector 9 Phoenix board that I have set up for sliding and doing practice tricks.
Once I get the trick down I try it on my 57.

I have so many different boards for different riding styles, slalom, speed, trick, surfing, Mt Boarding, and old school Pool boards..18 different boards total and I use them all.

The cheapest board I have will run you 150.00 the most expensive board i have will run you $1,200 just for starters.

Ebay is a great place to pick up boards cheap. I got my impala for 60.00 off ebay and it would cost you $680.00 if you went to their shop to buy it.

Unfortunately Longboards cost big bucks.
Hell It cost me 116.00 just for my 57's wheels, I go through 1 or two sets a season. The ABEC 13 ceramic bearings that I use cost $125.00 a set.

But I use my boards like my car (since I can not drive anymore) so I put some mileage on my boards with urban surfing and just getting around. It's nothing for me to put 20 to 40 miles on my boards a day. So I get my moneys worth.

like stated above a shuvit is a very easy trick. if you try it nollie i think it's even easier. don't even try to pop it try to "shuv" it lol

tricks for me are always easier when you're moving even a little bit
