Eating in or Dining out?

Which do you prefer? A nice home cooked meal or the luxury of eating out (if you had the means to do it every night)?

Although I'm still a huge fan of eating out and that's what I chose, I've actually been cooking more. (I know, it still shocks me too)

I voted eating out, but thats because I end up doing all of the cooking in our house I don't mind at the weekends, but hate having to do meals in the week when have been at work all day .

I did have an absolute hissing fit about 3 months ago, because as well as cooking every night I ended up washing up too, so I laid down a law. Whoever cooks, the other one washes up. What arrived the following weekend...... a dishwasher. Oh well at least I don't have to wash the dishes now, but still have to fill it and unload it

With my old job I ate out every night for 5 years, so for that reason alone it has to be Eating-in for me, I love preparing and eating my own food. I've also grown fussy to what I eat so I take pleasure in knowing exactly what I am consuming..... plus I find cooking therapeutic.

I much prefer eating out, everyone can pick out exactly what they want, I don't have to cook it, I don't have to decide what to cook, I don't have to clean up, I don't have to shop for the food to cook the meal. Man, eating out is the way to go.

Actually if I had the means, I would hire a personal chef to cook all the meals and snacks throughout the day, that would be awesome.
