Good Food or Service?
The other night I had pizza delivered because the pizza thread made me crave for it. But the place where I ordered my pizza from the last time (and that pizza was excellent!) was closed for the month. People go on long vacations here during the summer.  So I tried another one - just randomly picked a brochure that these stores leave in our mailbox. The delivery was fast, the delivery dude was pleasant, and the price is just a bit lower than the other pizza store. However, the pizza didn't taste just as delicious.
So for the next time I would order, I was thinking whether I'd go for the pizza store which has kickass pizza (but a bit more expensive and the service is beurk), or I'd stay with this new pizza place where the pizza is average but the service and price are excellent. 
Which is more important for you when choosing a place to eat? Excellent service/prices or Excellent food? That is, assuming you cannot have both in one place.

Are we assuming extremes, or is the other choice at normal levels?
Like
"awesome food with normal service or Awesome service and normal food", or
"Awesome food and terrible service or awesome service with terrible food"?

When it comes down to it I'd prefer better quality food.
But if the service is really terrible I'd opt for some place else.

True, but then the purpose of finding a restaurant is to eat. So good food has more weight, normally.
Anyway, answer it with what would be a difficult choice for you that involves service and food mix. For me, the one I stated was that situation and it still poses a dilemma to me.

Excellent food. Why? Because most likely I'm with friends, so slow or shoddy service only means less money paid and more time to enjoy each other's company.

I'm the same as Cons, if I go out to a restaurant I'm always with friends. So I much rather have good food and slow service. Me and my friends can keep occupied while the service is bad. Also I usually go to sports bars which have televisions. So I can keep entertained that way as well.

Yeah I don't care if the service is ****ty and the food is good.
Good food usually trumps terrible service.
However, I will get mediocre food if the service is fast and the prices are good and I am on my own.
