The last time i Checked Juventus starting lineup.. they have the best goalie in the world.. take away their goalie; and they're left with.. a stranger to guard the net. Meaning their other players must step up.
anyone forget Trezquet, Camaronessi, Iaquinta

they got 1 or 2 years left
world, when he gets back from injury. shuld be back by next round

Casillas is the bets keeper in the world, Buffon is second. What you think a team like Juve won't have a decent reserve keeper? Trez, Cam are well past there best and are good at their best nowdays. However i do rate Iaquinta highly. And no if a goalie is out the outfield players don't need to step up as much as they would if they lost a key player eg CB,CM,ST.

Casilas is a prick, Buffon won the FIFA goalkeeper award 4 times casilas won it once, casilas won keeper of the woprld cup award once casilas zero. buffon won the world cup; cassilas won the euro cup?

you see thats what defines an italian team. TEAM effort. its not all about Torres, or Silva or Terry.. team effort. Hey, the Italians won a championship using team effort. the only downside is if they loose 4 key players to inury/suspensions, theyll obviously loose a game. Spain '08? No denying Italy is a much more well structured and better built team than Spain, but lets not go there right now.
math?

did i say that? don't put words in my thread! I said Chimenti; (RGK) isn;t the best goalie in the world. point being, he is a level lower than Buffon.

Casillias is just better than Buffon imo, i know many people who agree with me and many who think what you think. Team effort ey? Thats why Juve struggle against teams from England because they don't have the depth to compete with them. Even having your second string keeper in a team like Juve don't matter a great deal because of the ****ehouse quality of the Serie A he doesn't have to do much anyway.

If anything England is a mafia **** house NOT italy.. why is it always those 4 teams whi keep winning the EPL?? why is it always those 4 teams that keep playing in the Champions League? If Serie A is so ****full why do Serie A teams win 2 titles in the past 5 years haha

The 4 teams keep winning the EPL because they are the strongest 4. Like Inter, Juve and AC are a cut above the rest of the Serie A. In those teams there isn't much difference. It's down the next level where the EPL is a lot stronger. Aston Villa, Pompey, Everton and Tottenham when in form can all take points off the Big 4. Whereas besides Inter,Roma,Juve,AC,Fiorentia the Serie A is very medicore.

1st of all.. you just shafted yourself. All along I've been saying the EPL has no depth.. they only have 4 good teams. Then you tell me Serie A has more depth than EPL by saying they have 5 teams that always consistent... lol. Face it, Serie A is no stronger than EPL, EPL is no stronger than serie A. it varies. In 2008 EPL was the strongest league in the world.. In 2003 Serie A was the strongest league in the world. In 1975 the EPL was storngest league in the world.. in 2007 Serie A was.
both Leagues have won a total of 11 Champions Leagues titles anyways. But I won't lie, Arsenal and Chelsea are in a class of their own.. they always make it past the 1st round.. but never win.

3 of the 5 teams i mentioned are very good, Inter, Milan and Juve. However Fiorentia and Roma are not very stong but competitive. If i was to name the teams at the level of Roma/Fio i could easily say City, Villa, Pompey and a strong Tottenham side.

And how the hell can you say in 07 that the Seria a was stronger than the EPL? 1 Italian team made it to the 1/4 finals...compared to 3 English teams making it to the semi finals and the other one lost in the 1/4's. Don't forget that Inter and AC both lost to the 4th and 3rd English clubs even though they were clearly the best two teams in Italy last season.

Roma has some pretty good Champions League campiagns. Last year, and the year before made it to 1/4, I believe both years they choked against Man U. But thats Roma, they're known for being big chokers.

AC was no way one of the best teams in Italy last year. If that was the case, they'd be in the CL right now. Last year was a ****ty season.

I'm one who agrees Buffon is better. All of this Casillas hype naming him as the absolute best in the world came after the Euro Cup. Yes Casillas had more success in '08. And even if he was better during the year, you have to look at each of their careers. It's not like he started playing better than Buffon and kept doing so. Look at the tables and compare Juve and Real thusfar in their domestic campaigns.
