Actually they are struggling, they lost to Bologna (who has been in serie B for the past 2 years) and Geneoa. Last year was a struggling season as well, they finished 5th place, had they beaten Napoli the last day of the year they'd have made it to the ECL, but they lost 3-0.. and Fiorentina took the 4th place of the Serie A and qualified for the ECL.

Pirlo
Kaka

Nah, most of them are old 'has beens' who can no longer cut it on the big stage.

Hense no Champions League. World class teams always qualify for the biggest competition in the world.

EEB do you even hear yourself when you speak.. a world class team means the best players in the world are on your team. I think Milan has some of the best players in the world, they make the national team for their country regularly. And they win world class trophys as well. In a sport there is more than talent that you have to have to win. Maybe their attitude last season was not good going into the scuddeto race. neither is it this year, point being; you can have all the world's top players and you won't be guaranteed anything. It happens in every sport not just soccer.

But Milan don't have world class players....that's the discussion in hand.

I said, with the exception of Kaka, that they are old has-beens who are no longer world class.

So Pirlo, Nesta, and Gatusso are not world class players? Really, I thought a huge factor of Italy loosing vs Spain was because they were missing them? consider it a fact that if a world class team is missing key players, in order fior them to win.. I'd say that's world class enough.

Say they're old, but they're still world class. Inzaghi still has something left in him.

They're showing Bayern Munich vs Lyon tomorrow night on our local channel. Ribery seems to be out of injury because he's in the line up. If only he played for the national team in the first WC qualifier match.
