anyways, it wasn't italy if you're missing Andrea Pirlo, Mauro Camoranesi, Fabio Grosso, Marco Materazzi and Vincenzo Iaquinta, Alessandro Del Pierro, and Antonio Cassano. And if Buffon was there, he would have still let in 0 goals so I'll admit that didn't make much of a difference. Luca Toni played less than 20 minutes, this was only a experimental game for the youngsters to get experience.. so the point is not bad. If Italy had all their players they'd win for sure.

glad to hear France had French people who can score.

I say this to all your nonsense claims.....prove it.

Bulgaria are no push overs and Lippi did field six of the players who won the world cup. Italy were far from impressive.

Hmm, not sure if you were watching a re-run of the Croatia game. Theo was no better than anyone else.

Rooney's performance was accomplished and quite righly deserved his man of the match.

wow.. 6 out of a 11 man field.. and a 20 man team.. and only 6 world cup champs were there.. people who weren't even on the world cup team like Cassano, weren't there either. They were missing players, good players, better players. If the better players were there they'd have played better, it's a fact. Face it. We were only putting young players so by the time the next world cup comes along they wont make the same mistakes they made yesterday. It's called experience. Italy has the best team in the world, they wouldn't loose to Bulgaria if they had their WHOLE team playing, but they were missing 8 players, that's alot man.

that's the difference between beating England 2-0 and loosing to them 0-3.

I still think you're talking crap.

Bulgaria away from home isn't easy, show some respect. Playing better players doesn't ensure victory, being an England fan has taught me that.

england has good players?
I remeber 1990, Englands best finish since the 1966, 4th place, 2-1 loss to Italy in the 3rd place match.

England has as many world class players as anyone.

Lampard, Gerrard, Rooney, Terry, Ferdinand, Beckham and maybe a few more.

Nobody wins anything with great individuals, things are won with great teams.

I was clearly watching the Kazakhstan game, Rooney's 'first goal' actually came off a defender who headed it into their own net.

Theo was doing better than Rooney, a constant attack and was able to slip out of tight situations, they actually made a comment about that at half time. Theo provided more shots and assisted shots at goal than Rooney.

Yeah your right.. time to improve your defense. The English defense never impressed me, Englands defense is worse then Italy's offense Defense is what wins championships. Your not good until you prove yourself. I'll admit, England SHOULD have beaten Brazil in 2002, they fell apart though after a lead.

FYI Rooney's 'first goal' was given as an own goal, he still scored two of his own, so you've called that incorrectly. I'm not even going to take the rest of your post seriously as I'm pretty sure you have no idea what you're on about.

Walcott drifted in and out of the game and was almost non-existent in the second half.
