The debt will take care of itself due to the club buying itself.
The Glazier owners took out a huge loan to buy the club and now all the profit made at United is used for the repayments, strange really. It's like me buying a huge business without a penny to my name and then expect the profit I make to repay the loan. The only difference being that they have collateral. |

Real Madrid just got two incredible players. They paid a lot for them, especially Ronaldo, but they are worth the money. Both of these players are two of the best players in today's game. They'll help their new club in many different ways. Tough lost for Man U.

I won't miss C.Ronaldo in Premier League. Actually I'm happy happy he left. I never liked him but anyway I wish him luck in Primera Division. He'll need it for sure

Why will he need luck in the La Liga.
In my opinion the Spanish league isn't half as strong as the English Premier League. I think Ronaldo will be a huge loss for English football. I know all United's rivals will have love to have seen him leave for Madrid but overall the fans of the lesser teams will be sad to see him leave our game. |

Inter Milan wants Chelsea's pair: Carvalho and Deco. Both expressed wanting out of Chelsea.

Not to mention other teams' stars: Messi, Xavi, Villa and others. Anyway premier league football is different from spanish but I think it's no problem for him. But I'm afraid (or maybe not ) he can feel lost not being the only star among teammates but one of the few.Well, I hope time will tell everything

Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Portsmouth full back Glen Johnson for an estimated £21M.
Other transfer stories: Tevez is to leave Manchester United when his loan deal ends this month. Valencia striker David Villa has told English clubs to forget signing him as he will not be leaving Spain. Reports say he will only leave Valencia to go to rivals Real Madrid or Barcelona. Valencia have released a statement saying he is not for sale. Manchester United are leading the race to land £25M rated Lyon striker Kazim Benzema. Manchster City are said to be in the hunt for 'at least four top players' this summer with Samuel Eto'o top of thier wish list. |

Well, Benzema and all his transfer rumors....
Apparently he's signing up with Real Madrid today. ------ 2 days after (since the date changes with automerged posts).... Michael Owen signing up with Manchester? Last edited by ysabel; 07-03-2009 at 07:23 AM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

You mean Manchester United?
Yes, according to the papers here in Britain he will be attending a medical at the clubs training complex this weekend and will be assessed on his fitness. In my opinion he would be a poor addition to the existing squad. Although being free as he is out of contract, I feel he is too injury plagued and his best years of football are well behind him. We need to go out and spend big bucks and big players. |
