Gameboy Color was so much better than the original. I don't know what you guys are talking about. It was significantly smaller and lighter. It had color (I don't care if the color isn't great, it's still better than yellow and black). I'm pretty sure it had better battery life, and required less batteries. And it's a lot more durable.

I think Sega Gamegear had better color than the GBC, and wasn't the Gamegear a predicessor to it???

We weren't comparing GBC to Sega Gamegear. We're comparing it to the original huge Gameboy. And GBC is much better. Nintendo is just slow to upgrade. I'm not sure when Gameboy Advance came out, but it was well after Super Nintendo, and GBA has SNES quality graphics. DS has graphics that aren't quite as good as Nintendo 64, and it came out like 8 years later.

Well I was just saying that if Gamegear was before the GBC and had better color than it, then it must not have been impossible for the GBC to be a much better improvement to the GB than it actually was. The very LEAST that I would have expected of it would be to compete with Gamegear, if not surpass it's color quality all together.

Well that's pretty much what I previously posted. Nintendo has never upgraded their handhelds or consoles to be the best available (in terms of performance). They usually go for just enough of an upgrade so that people will buy the new products, and that's probably the most profitable thing for them to do. There aren't many details on Revolution yet, but there's a lot of speculation that the graphics will barely be better than Xbox.

Oracle of Ages [ the one with the animals ] was fun too. but DX was better.
