I can't remember exactly when I got mine but I know it was after I started the 7th grade, somewhere around '94. I had Tetris, Bases Loaded, Tennis, Soccer, Power Rangers, Pokemon Blue/Red/Yellow/Silver/Gold.
Edit: I forgot to mention that the screen on my old Gameboy no longer works. It's a shame too. Even though I like the Advance and the DS, I miss the old school feeling of holding the big, clunky Gameboy. Last edited by KiethBlackLion; 06-11-2008 at 11:45 AM.. |

I got the original one during it's run. I'm not sure when exactly, but it was before the Zelda game was released, I know. I sold that version online a year or two ago. It still worked fine, but I don't need it when I've got three or four newer versions, you know?

I never actually had an original gameboy, but I did borrow my friends sometimes when I was like, 9. I had a Gameboy Advance when I was 10.

My son got a Game Boy Advance last Christmas and I just discovered what it is. I like playing with it, when he lets me.

My first gameboy was a big fat red one a very long time ago [I don't remember when exactly, sorry]. Then I got a colour one a little while later and thought it was the best thing ever.

I did not have the original generation- my first was a teal GBC I got in probably 1998 or 1999. My parents boycotted video games until about that time.

my first gameboy was given to me by my friend when i was .. i think maybe 8? it was an original gameboy. then when i was 10 i got a gameboy colour! a kiwi green one! and then when i was... 15? i got a gameboy advance sp, and thats what i still play!

I was never lucky enough to actually own my very own Gameboy. I started off sharing an N64 with my little sister when i was around 10 or so.
Fortunately, my boyfriend broke out his really oldschool big fat green gameboy and i have been playing Pokemon on it :) haha...oh.. i can definitely see that all these years i was really missing out! |

I had a yellow gameboy color. I was in third grade and we went out to recess. I left it in my desk and it got stolen. It had my pokemon game in it. I was extremely sad for a while. I always played the games with the boys at recess.
