Favorite crops?

Anyone here grow food in their gardens?

I'm rather partial to carrots. they grow fast, don't need much care, and aren't susceptible to most kinds of pests like above-ground fruits are.

Zucchini & Cucumbers. They can grow to insane proportions with just a little extra effort.

Also I've always enjoyed growing my own corn, theres nothing quite like shucking home grown corn.

My dad grows tomatoes, zucchini, and cucumbers in his garden. They're pretty good. He's grown other stuff in past years, like peas and eggplant.

Tomatoes will always be my favorite. There is nothing better than a warm sun kissed tomato eaten right after it's been picked.
I grew pumpkins one year and they did work out pretty well. The only problem was all the space they needed to grow.
