The Big County Fair!
Do any of you go to yours (if you have them) ?
We usually make a point to go at least once to ours every year, its fun and I enjoy helping support some of the 4h / FFA kids mostly because I was one myself once.
From the art galleries to the exhibits theres tons to do and with an open mind they can all be fun.
So do you go to your County Fair?
Mine has gotten big enough it has a website now.

We have a couple of big fairs that pop round each year and I try and go to at least one. I know the fairs I am talking about won't be as big as a county fair but there are a lot of tents that sell various things - from food to jewellery.
|
I've got an idea - an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about.

here in d-town we actually have whats called the 'National Peanut Festival'
2008 National Peanut Festival Dothan, Alabama is the largest peanut producer in the united states. At the festival you will see almost every different type of peanut ever. from salty, sweet, sour, peanut soup, peanut pie, peanut butter--real butter made from peanut oils and so on and so on... and well its considered our fair...

I haven't been to a county fair in forever. We used to go every year when I was younger (and usually had at least a project each from 4H in it). They are fun, but I can't do carnival rides (the slow rocking and super spinning makes me sick) so I haven't pushed to go recently.

We have the Laughton County Fair and the Cuckoo fair.
They're pretty big deals but I have no interest in going. Just never been a big fan of fairs.
|
And if they get me take this spike and, you put the spike in my heart.

Around here we have a couple of fairs that happen during the summer for each county. Also the State Fair at th end of the summer. Fair food is the best food. I try to make it to my own county's one every year.

There's a Fair that I go to every year, it's not very big, and I don't do rides or anything, I just there at night to watch the concerts and get hammered. It's just a complete **** show, it's awesome.
