I suppose I'm one of the lucky ones as I've never suffered from dandruff.

I've always used anti dandruff shampoo's since I've had hair so maybe that explains why.

I remember once though when my scalp got burnt and I wore a black shirt and within minutes it was covered in flaked skin.

Honestly though, compared to what seems to be awesome success stories with everyone and head & shoulders... I was never so lucky. No idea why, I found my best help was the "Gilette" brand anti-dandruff line of shampoos.

Every once in awhile (normally when the seasons change) I get a flare up of psoriasis on my head. It's a bit different from dandruff. I don't get the rain of flakes...just sort of itchy dry patches here and there. When it happens, I normally have to use a combination of Nizoral A.D. and Head and Shoulders.

No. I don't remember having dandruff issues but I do have a major hair problem: falling hair. Not sure which is worse.

I have never really had dandruff too bad, but I will get it between weather changes. Especially when it starts getting really cold I'll get a little bit, but nothing worth worrying about.. Then when it gets hot again I will get a little dandruff for maybe a few days, but that doesn't always happen. I have found that if I do use head and shoulders I get dandruff... Ugh, so I just stick with regular old shampoo until it goes away.

I do get pretty embarassed by it because I have black hair, so it shows greatly.

I get maybe one pimple a month and I don't do anything special to my face. >.> Though I have wicked bad dandruff. Luckily enough it isn't so you can see it, unless I rub my scalp no one will notice. I can make a line, though.

Ahh, the funky beads sound like exfoliating beads. They take a layer of skin off to get the dirt out, really good, but it can dry out your skin. So I would use some lotion. Amazing stuff though, right?
