Once in a while, there's an exception, but usually it's funny despite them being hurt, not because of it (the irony of the situation, or their reaction, or whatever). |

YES! There is this thing on Foxtel called "Most Amazing Videos" and "Most Daring" of people getting hurt and what not, it's the best thing!

It's the stupidity that makes me laugh, not the hurting really.
The hurting makes me squint, the stupidity makes me lol! |

I love watching those kinds of clips.
Infact, when i'm around someone, anyone and they fall or smack there head, I giggle. Not to be mean it's just something I find funny. I even laugh at myself. I have gotten in trouble for this many times. I just can't help it. |

I think it is a natural reaction in some people to laugh at others getting injured. As a student nurse I see the after effects of people doing these so called "stunts" and I don't find it amusing at all.
![]() Still I like watching people fall down and slip, trip, get hit in the privates and everything else you find on the internet.

There is ABSOLUTELY nothing funnier than someone getting hurt. It's sad to see animals get hurt, but to see people is just damn hilarious!

No I can't stand it! R1p sometimes tries to put those shows on the TV where stupid people are hurting themselfs or stunts that go wrong. It makes me cringe and I don't feel nice. Sometimes it can be funny but only when it's really mild like those home video shows if someone walks into a tree or something.
That show Jackass is so horrible, I can't bare to watch it, one time they had to eat as many hard boiled eggs as they could and they were so sick, they were throwing up all over the place and they thought it was funny. I would prefer to watch fluffy bunnies jumping around in a field eating grass with no injuries or no falling over. :) |

Schadenfreude...satisfaction over another's fail. I can't say I like to watch it in the sense of "oooh, let's go see this!"
. But I can say that I do get some comfort when I watch fail things happen to others because I'm thinking "I'm glad it isn't me" or "See, my life isn't so bad after all, others have it worse".

I'm sort of indifferent on that front. On one end of the spectrum, it can be absolutely hilarious to see someone wipe out on a bike and hurt themselves. On the other hand of the spectrum, it really strikes a pang deep inside when you see a clip on tv of someone in a 3rd world country who just had a building land on them. Those kinds of things I can't stand to watch. Because I start to imagine how much they lost and what it would be like. I really don't know how I'd handle that.

Not really, but then again I do watch videos like this every once in a while. Mostly to remind myself never to try the things that say "Don't try this at home".
Those and skateboard videos. They remind me why I don't participate in such activities.
