Do you like watching people get hurt?

Your immediate answer is probably a flat out "no", but hold on a sec. There's so many Youtube videos and TV shows (i.e. you've been framed for the Brits) that have clip after clip of people falling over, driving into a tree, smacking their heads on something, back-flips gone wrong.. I don't find it amusing to watch to be honest. It gets boring after a while and I only end up feeling sorry for them, haha.

So, do you enjoy watching these types of shows/clips?

Things like when a guys trying to show off and he walks into a lamp post....

Stuff like that. I don't like watching children or animals getting hurt....but when its an adult who was just too stupid to stop the incident happening then yeah I'll chuckle. I don't like serious injuries either.

I hated you've been framed and shows like that though.

I gotta admit, I get my jollies off from watching that kind of stuff. I know what it feels like half the stuff lol, and so I laugh even harder. Man, if only I'd owned a video camera as a kid. I'd have tons of those types of videos myself. Of myself =P

If it's funny and no serious pain is sustained, then yes.

A lot of TV shows and internet videos take it way further though, that does suck.

I find it amusing to watch people get hurt so long as nothing serious happens.

I think those type of shows are flat out stupid, some of my buddies love it so much and personally I don't understand. Grant it I laughed a few times, but most of the time I just believe it's idiotic.

I'll laugh at almost anything when someone gets hurt. If they get seriously hurt, I wait until everything's okay, THEN I laugh.

I laugh when anybody does something stupid that causes them to get hurt. Even if that person is me. Their was a thin layer of snow out, and I was walking in the yard and my idiot uncle left a hoe out (giggity), and I stepped on it and smacked myself in the face. I fell over laughing.Their are people at school who do stupid things and hurt themselves all the time.

It's not always that we enjoy the idea of other people getting hurt I think, it's more like we are amused by each others' clumsiness or stupidity. I mean, a kid trying to jump off his roof onto a trampoline is comedy gold waiting to happen. But somebody crossing the street and getting blindsided by a car going 50 is not going to get as many laughs because it's not a direct result of stupidity but poor luck (usually).
