Now before I start this thread, just wanted to say that GF is not planning to close the Sub Talk area, so no need to panic or anything.

I was wondering if we decided to close sub-talk for good, would you still post on these forums?

What are your thoughts of the Sub Talk section?

Subtalk is often a redeeming feature of GF.

I really like the subtalk area, but I don't think it defines the site completely. I also think having it helps to keep the random stuff contained. I like it there, but I also like the actual discussion threads. I don't think getting rid of it would make me leave, but it would make me disappointed.

I don't really use sub talk that often, so I would still be at GF if it went, and even if I used it a fair bit, I still wouldn't leave GF :)

I think everyone knows how I feel about Sub Talk, so I would be extremely happy if GF decided to close it. Reading some of the threads in there give me a headache. No offense to anyone that post in there. I've hated it since day one, and I'll always hate it. The only thing that I like in that section is the Picture Thread.

I'd still post here if there wasn't a sub-talk, but probably not as often. It's the light hearted part of the forums, and nicely balances out the seriousness of MD. And if it were gone, people would just spam the **** out of the General Discussion section and make too much work for the mods.

If GF closed sub talk I think I would live lol... But seriously, I wouldn't be all that bothered about it.... I would certianly still keep posting, I wouldn't see a reason not too. I think ST can be fun sometimes and it lets people have fun, but sometimes it's just so stupid and the amount of **** that comes out of ST is unbelieveable sometimes. But I agree with waht Impact says. It creats and nice balance and some people really love ST.

Personally, I love the place. It gives me somewhere to mess around with and not have to worry about character limits and staying on topic. It's somewhere we can have fun and chill out in and, well, be ourselves, or even anyone or anything we want. If Sub-Talk was closed down, well, of course I wouldn't leave GF, because I still post in General, Entertainment, and MD. But I'd be very, very disappointed.

Sub-Talk allows us to have fun. It allows us to do what we want, say what we want (within reason) and just goof off.


BR, if you don't like it then the answer is really quite simple - don't go in there.

I don't go in Sub Talk, I'll only go in there to see the picture thread, which I do on almost a daily basis. Then I do the mistake of scrolling down, and I see the name titles of certain threads, and I am like wow! Are you kidding me, how do people come up with this none sense.

Once again, I am not trying to offend anyone.

I don't know how I could live without ST. It's the only place I post on GF and everybody knows that I absolutely love it.

Oh wait, that was somebody else.. It's fun sometimes but I usually avoid it like Babe. I would rather post where actual things are being discussed besides whether or not Tucker wears boxers or briefs.
