In the past years, because I rarely go out for social stuff (kids happened) and most of my dear friends now live in other countries...my internet friends are more accessible to me (that said, so are my real life friends if they have internet).

I'm sure there are things people are more likely to talk about amongst strangers. But like Scubasteve said, real friends definitely take priority.

I think my internet friends are just as important as my real life friends, in fact I met my best friend on the internet.
Just becasue they don't live around the corner doesn't make them any less important to me. |

I would prefer to hang out with my internet friends in real life, if that's an option. My real life friends either work a ****load and rarely get to hang out, or live out of town.

I prefer hanging out with real life friends, but the internet friends make the gaps inbetween those visits much more interesting.

Real friends take priority, but not all of my friends are sensible and are so stupid. That's when internet takes the cake
