Sleeping with a window open in winter

Am I the only one who loves burrowing under a super warm comforter and feeling the winter breeze blowing in the room?
I've cracked my window open to sleep twice this week and I've had the pleasure of waking up feeling completely rested.

I keep my bedroom door closed so it's only my room that gets cold.

I do that lots, except I don't cover up with blankets. I get disturbingly warm while I sleep, so I find that letting the -30 air in helps me to sleep. Just a thin quilt is all I need.

I keep the window open a lot, including at night. I got so used to doing it at home because one of my windows was small so it let in just a nice amount of fresh cold air, but here at university the window is just one huge one. But I still leave it open sometimes, and the room gets freezing. My friend next door refuses to come in here in the morning because she can't stand it, haha.

I wouldn't be one of those people, you don't put the heat on when you do this right? Does it snow in your area? How cold does it usually get?

If I get warm I just take off my wife beater and sleep in boxers, but usually I sleep in jogging pants and a wife beater and that's good enough.

I don't crack the window open, but I will have a fan or aircon on, I just get too warm when I try to sleep so I need something to even it out.

Yeah, because taking that little scrap of material off will make a big difference.

And yes, the heat is on, but I keep my door closed so the rest of the place still stays comfortable. It was in the teens last night, very chilly.

I only crack the window open if it's too warm in my room since I can't sleep if it's warm. I don't want my room to be frigid cold though. It's hard enough getting out of bed as it is. If the room is really cold then it would be too uncomfortable getting up.

Yes it does actually.

But don't you believe that's a waste of money? Why don't you just turn your heat off instead if you decide open your window.

I usually leave my window slightly cracked open any night. I don't like the smell of sleeping people.
