I prefer /wrists. That one makes me giggle. /thread just makes me want to post something to the thread its in, but then I never have anything to add, and have to admit to myself that the thread probably should be over. I'm pretty sure it just means, "this thread is ****ing retarded, okay?", though. I guess its more polite than saying that. At least a little.

It only annoys me when the person who says it is blatantly wrong.
And that does happen quite a bit as well. Unfortunately with staff sometimes. (I'm not referring to this forum, though!) |

I think I've used /rant before. I know I use it on aim and other IMs. I think the whole /thread thing is really irritating because it feels like someone is trying to say that all that they said the only thing that matters and that it basically sums up what happened.
