Your plans for 4th of July?

Not to alienate anybody, but, if you're in the United States what are you plans for the 4th of July? Going to see a firework show? Have a barbecue? Chill out and relax?

Even if you're not in the United States you can still tell us what your plans are for this day.

To add, here is some information about the 4th of July:
Quote:
In the United States, Independence Day (commonly known as the Fourth of July) is a federal holiday commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain.

Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, picnics, baseball games, and various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States, but is often also viewed as simply a summer festival, apart from its patriotic overtones.
I'm going to relax with family during the day and head out to a firework show during the evening. Those shows usually have carnival food around and that's a very good thing. ^_~

I'm going to spend the day at my Grandparents house with most of my extending family. There will be swimming and food and it will be glorious.

lmao, j/k

I'm not doing anything on july 4 for obvious reasons but I wish I were there in the US to see the fireworks. I love fireworks. I guess I'll have to wait for Bastille day on the 14th and see what they come up with here.

I always wondered why France doesn't celebrate the 4th of July. Maybe not to the extent that the US does (for obvious reasons) but honestly France did help the US win the war against England that led to the 4th of July.

It's just like any other day for me. I wish I could be there and see all the fireworks though.

I guess I'll have to make some of my own.

4th of July is my favorite holiday. I'll take my daughter to the parade, then there will be a cook out at my aunt's house and if it's warm enough we'll swim in her pool.

YAY! hooray for 4th of July! Hooray for July period! my favorite month!!

Not a thing for me. I actually don't have to work that day either which is a shock.

Picnic and fireworks. I'm just glad to have the day off. I'm looking forward to the long weekend.
