None of the "next gen" games have really impressed me like all of the last generations games have done. Of course, I've only played Nintendo games, but really none of the hits the other consoles have would appeal to me. I tried to play Halo and really couldn't get into it.
I just really do not like FPS games and things like that. Anyways, I guess I'll have to go for the two that haven't significantly disappointed me... Super Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart Wii. They are not games I'd consider "fantastic", but they are a lot better than the other sequels like Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I'm really hoping Nintendo still has something up it's sleeve... I haven't seen anything impressive like Animal Crossing, Super Smash Bros. Melee, or Paper Mario. (they really need to make another REAL Paper Mario game... and Brawl? No. It's no where near as impressive as Melee was.) |

There are many great games that I like to play.. But damn Portal is just one of those games that blows you away with completely unique game play with hillarious style. Can't forget Bioshock though, deepest game play I have ever experienced. I'm all about having many options on how I wan't to go about defence or killing enemies. And then comes my favorite game.. GTA IV. Imensely detailed city that greatly resembles NY with a cutting edge physics engine. I mean it's one of the few games out with the latest physics/graphics engins running it. BTW Once finished reading this post, you will be bathed and then there WILL be cake! |
