Movies of 2009

What movies are you looking forward to the most that are being released in 2009?

So far I can't wait for the new Terminator and Transformer movie!

Crank 2. I really enjoyed the first one and am keen to see how they're going to start a new one as the first one didn't make me think there would be a film to follow.

This is exactly what I was going to say. I loved the previous 2 Underworld movies, but Kate Beckinsale isn't in this new one, so I'm not sure how I'm going to like that one.
I was so miffed when they pushed HP back to summer of 2009.

So far I don't know much movies that are coming out in 2009, but the one that I am really excited to see is Defiance with Daniel Craig. It's a movie about World War 2, it looks amazing in my opinion. I cannot wait to see it.

Harry Potter definitely. Terminator looks pretty solid. Funny People, Monsters Vs. Aliens, there's some decent stuff coming out.

Nothings really impressing me, but then again we're not going to get a whole ton of movies this year (at least not compared to other years) due to the fallout of the writers strike.

The standout should be Watchmen but due to recent events it looks like unfortunately it won't be coming out in 09. Guess I'm looking forward to Terminator and Wolverine, maybe GI Joe to some extent, but nothings really jumping out at me.

Final Destination 4 for me. I like the series and I'm excited about the next installment. Hopefully, they resorted back to the tactics of Final Destination 2 and make it similar to that.

That'll probably be the only movie I'll be interested in in 2009.

I heard the second Iron Man was going to be out in 09. if so, then I can't wait for that either. I thought the first one was mostly background info for the second.

Harry potter and X-Men Origins: Wolverine come to mind.

I'll put my money on Inglourious Basterds (sic). Although Quentin Tarantino may play to the lowest common denominator a la Stephen King, most of the films he's both written and directed have been high grossing and very watchable. This WWII-era story about a band of Jewish Resistance fighters in Nazi-occupied France, which is now filming with Brad Pitt in the lead role and Samuel L. Jackson handling the narration duties, looks to be no less entertaining and popular than the best of what Tarantino's given us to date.
