Best Commissioner?
In your opinion who is the best commissioner in the four major sports?
A couple of years ago I thought the NFL was the best runned league, but after Goddell took over I change my opinion. So now it's an easy decision for me since Bettman and Selig are god awful at there position, and both should step down. They haven't don't anything to help there league they run. They've made a lot of bad decisions.
So my choice is David Stern. I think he's done a great job since taking over, he's help the sport grow and make it more global. I like the new dress code he enlisted a couple of years, it made the league look more respectable. The only thing that I didn't like was when he raised the age limit to go to the NBA.
Thougts?

I swing big, with everything I've got. I hit big or I miss big. I like to live as big as I can." Babe Ruth

Throw out Selig and Bettman immediately. Honestly, I might take David Stern as well but there's always the referee scandal and all that. Goddell hasnt done a poor job IMO...I think eventually he's going to take over the top spot but for now I'll stick with Stern.

I'd say either Goddell or Stern. I LOVE the new age limit for the NBA and I wish they would raise it another year actually. It's good for both NBA and college ball.

I dont follow the NBA... so screw the OP I'm breaking the Rules.
The absolute best sports commissioners are Dana White and Mike Helton. Both have been absolutely great for their respectable sports growing them at a rapid pace while still managing to keep a quality product available.

Dana White = President of UFC
Mike Helton = CEO of NASCAR
both those sports have had a HUGE growth spurt over the last 10 years and I accredit that largely to those two men. surprises me you dont know who Dana White is.
