My all time favorite game show is The prices right. Then I would have to have a tie for second with Double Dare and Press your luck. I remember watching all the game shows that were on right after the early morning cartoons just before the soaps came on. I would watch them all and then go play. Yes kiddies we didn't have all the lovely channels that you have now when I was a kid, if you didn't have cable you had 4 channels to choose from. So what is your favorite game show Now or Expired? |

I'll say The Price is Right, too. I like both the old and new host, good variety of games and it's entertaining. I especially love when somebody bids $400 and the next person bids one dollar higher to $401 making their bid completely useless.

I always liked "Who wants to be a millionaire" when Regis Philbin did it. That show had some intense music too.

Alas, I can tolerate only Jeopardy! now. Back in the day I enjoyed a show called Match Game for the delightfully inappropriate responses its panelists gave to ostensibly innocuous questions. MG marked the first time I had ever heard the word 'boobs' uddered--sorry, uttered--on television. And Charles Nelson Reilly didn't just SAY the word, he OWNED it: "Boooobuzuh." Damn, I wish that old 'mo could have lived forever.

I've always liked The Price is Right, but The Wheel Of Fortune ALWAYS got my attention.
I don't mind Who Wants To Be A Millionare now. |

I have to go with Price is Right as well, I used to watch that show everyday for about three years. I think the concept of that game is wonderful, and I love Bob Barker. I don't watch it anymore though, because it's not the same without him.

Jeopardy for sure. I love trivia shows, but most of the other ones are painfully slow to try to create suspense. The other shows have like 15-20 questions in a 60 minute show, while Jeopardy does over 60 in under 30 minutes.

Catchphrase! They show old repeats on Sky all the time.
Just yesterday me and Synd were playing against each other. He beat me... |
