Don't your keyboards have the indentations on the F and J so you know where the home keys are? Every single keyboard whether it be for my desktop, laptop or tablet have that on the 2 home keys so I know where to put my fingers. On one of my keyboards the letters faded away a long, long time ago.

Options:
- Time to buy a new keyboard.
- Re-write the fading letter.
- Just memorize the key in case one day the character is totally erased or unrecognizable.

for less than 15 bucks you can get yourself a brand spankin new one.
Eh, I don't really recommend that one (they would kill me at work for saying this). Besides having one of those retardedly huge enter keys, and a retardedly small backspace key, it will probably crap out on you in a few weeks. Instead, get the microsoft one for the same price.

But seriously, you need the letters?

Considering we have about 1/2 a dozen keyboards lying around at all times, if this happened I'd toss it and plug in a new one. (But then due to the massive amounts of computer parts we always have laying around, I try to come up with any excuse possible to toss parts.)

It's probably going to come with missing keys.

I have a keyboard and I'm trying to find a slot where I can insert my keys so that I can turn on my keyboard. Can anyone help me?

I was going to suggest using a permanent marker to write the letters on the keyboard but eventually that won't last long either. That's kind of my method of saving money but I'm sure if you go to garage sales or something, you can get it cheaper. Sometimes the thrift stores would have them too.

Metallic Silver Sharpie on a black keyboard, regular black on white.

That's what I'd do, anyway.
