I was 12. Interestingly, my (fraternal) twin sister was 13.

Her daughter was 10! That's crazy!

Anyone of you read Judy Blume's "Are you there God, it's me Margaret?"... I felt like Margaret that time.

When you haven't yet, it looks exciting. When you've just had it, you feel like you've moved to another level of femininity. When you've had it for a long time, you realise it's a curse.

I started at 14. I was also later then a lot of other girls around me, but that does not hurt my feelings. I wish I could have waited to start until I was 20, I didn't need it before then.

Two weeks before starting high school so I was 11. My mother decided giving me my first coffee was how she would celebrate the event. Lol.

The day before my my tenth birthday... so technically I was 9 lol. Oh I will never forget that day. I was so mad. I never thought it was something I wanted, and I really didn't ever want to start it. I was the first of my friends to start and I was so embarassed.
