The Brits bombing Pearl Harbor is like saying the French provoked the Germans into invading them. What would be the point in that?

Also, the Brits would NOT have wasted time painting some spitfires with Japanese symbols in the hope it wouldn't be noticed...everyone know what a spitfire looks like. Secondly, We were fighting on a dozens of fronts during WW2, not just Germany - Greece, Turkey,Cyprus,North Africa etc. The last thing Churchill would have done would be to decrease the number of soldiers in each area by making them fly across the atlantic masquerading as the Japanese just to get the USA into the war.

There is no way the Pearl Harbor attack could have been carried out without British involvement. Had the Brits never colonized North America, then there would have been no United States for the Japanese to attack. Q.E.D.
