Rangers are off to a great start, just worried that the PP still is sluggish and the second half of the game yesterday it seemed like they're tired. Tomorrows game against the Devils will be intense.

Anyone else surprised at how bad Tampa is doing?

No I wouldn't say I am surprise. You got to remember that there's a lot of new players on that team, so it's going to take a few more games for them to get adjusted to playing eachother. They won't make the playoffs, but they'll be better then what they were last season.

Habs played good vs Philly last night in a comefrom behind W, Price let in 1 bad one but made up for it with a few miracles, especially one desperate catch on the line which was redicrected by Plekanec on a philly PP.

why couldn't they do this in spring..

The Habs were defenitely the better team, and so far it seems like the Canadiens are one of the best offensive teams in the NHL, they scored six goals against the Leafs on Saturday, then they scored five goals against the Flyers.

Big game tommorow, its there home opener and there facing the Bruins.

Habs beat the B's 4-3 and the Coyotes 4-1 yesterday. Price's cousin spoiled his shutout midway through the 3rd. but he played very well in the 1st two frames. When the team needed him.

you were right BR, the Sabres are giving Montreal a fight in the standings as both teams are undefeated in regulation.

Montreal are just clicking right now, they just dominated the Coyotes. The only thing that made me mad from that game is the hit on Andrei Kostisyn, it was so dirty. I really wanted Laraque to pound him, but Sauer didn't want to fight him, hopefully he won't be out for a long period of time.

Buffalo have a strong team, Miller is playing really well, and Vanek is popping a lot of goals. They'll be tough this year.

Kostisyn doesn't have a concussion so he won't be out for long. He'll miss tonights game though but he'll be back next game, Saturday vs Anaheim. Halak's in nets tonight, I've heard. Anyways Florida has 1 of the worst offense in the league.

I expected Halak to start tonight. It's great to hear that Andrei Kostisyn is going to be alright.

I know it's still early Padd, but what are your thoughts of Koivu so far this season, the man is getting on the score sheet. He has eight points so far this season. Do you still think he's a bum?

Koivu surprises me, but what are your thoughts on Latendresse and Tanguay. they are combined for 12 points.. do you still think it's bad for Habs to sign French players.

the whole team is playing well.. you can't complain, Kovalev could do a bit better but I expect him to rack up a point or 2 tonight to shut up his critics. Although Plekanec is dissapointing. The guy has the top Powerplay line, only 4 PIMs and hes at 0 goals 2 passes and -1.. this guy needs to step up big time. But you can't blame him either, he always starts off the season slow.

I've been really impress with Latendresse to be honest with you, he still needs to be more consistent, and he needs to have a better aim when he shoots, because a lot of times he'll get golden oppurtunites, and he'll miss the net by a mile.

Tanguay is pretty really well, he quick, good passer and he's putting the puck in the net, hopefully he plays like this all season long.

I wouldnt worry about Plekanec to much, like you said, he's always been a slow starter, I'm sure he's going to pick it up soon. He's been playing well, he just can't find the net.

I do want the Canadiens to sign good french players, but I'm just afraid that if they do, the pressure will be to high and they won't be able to perform like they can.
