I was at the Rangers/Dallas game Monday and it was the dullest game I ever went too. The Rangers were exhausted from how crazy their schedule has been and Avery didn't do anything worth it.

Gonna watch some of Devils/Dallas to see if Avery screws with Brodeur.

Montreal one again on Monday, they beat the Panthers 3-1. Halak played well in nets, and Koivu was on the score sheet once again. The Canadiens don't play till Saturday against the Ducks, I believe the Habs are better then the Ducks, so they should win. But I don't want to be over confident.

Also the long rest will help with some of the injuries, Higgins and Andrei Kostysyn should be back on Saturday, which will defenitely help.

Side Note: We need more people for this thread, three isn't enough.

for the sake of this topic, who likes the ducks? I think they are worn out from winning their cup. They are 2 years older, and playing the type of hockey they play they are worn out.. what I'm saying is they're old. unlike Detroit, they don't have the same level of talent.

Last night was bad, we could have easily beaten this team but we made to many mistakes. Halak was playing like garbage. The ducks kept making the same plays and we were no where near the puck. having the experience they have they are the type of team that if you make a mistake they will hit you twice as hard, I'll give them that much.

I've still yet to watch a game, I know the BJ's are 3-5-0 a little worse than usual at the start of the season but hhhhwhateva. I just havent caught the NHL bug this season, not all that excited about it.

That's WHY I think the NHL season is way to long at 82 games. Even here belive it or not, the begining of the season , not as many people are interested in watching it because.. lets face it alot of the game during the 1st half are almost meaningless. It starts getting exciting at around Christmas time.. even later maybe.

My past experience usually consists of my interest being around the first month, the christmas area, trade deadline, and playoffs. Usually all the others are just kinda meh.

But this season Im just sorta sported out, not as interested as I usually am.

I'm really disapointed in you Goat, the season is very good so far, and I believe you should start watching now. I'm sure you won't be disapointed. There's also lots of fight this season, which you like.

The season isn't to long at all, I love all the games.

there are alot of meaningless games, i mean face it, in the NHL and NBA a team can loose 10 straight yet still make the playoffs. kinda like what the flyers did last season. even more so the NHL since we get 1 point for losing in the overtimes.
------
we played bad in the begining last night but the point is we rebounded late in the 1st, Price made the stops, and we got the 2 points. Kovy played well, Tanguay played well, they were in front of a good goalie who was undefeated in Mtl.. Price lets in a lucky bounce but he played very well.

Other then the second goal Price allowed, he played well, and he made the saves when it really counted.

Like you mentioned the Habs had a real bad start, but where able to pick it up after, Tanguay scored a nice goal on the Penalty Shot, and Kovalev's goal was a rifle.

They play the Wild tommorow, which should be a tough match up, hopefully Price will be in nets, and hopefully they'll be able to get the victory.

Leafs/Devils game was sick tonight. I love when Brodeur gets beat, proves how inferior he is when the team isn't bailing him out. Plus Hagman getting the GWG in the shootout got me points in my Fantasy Leagues.

BRODEUR SUCKS!!!
