When you see an auction from someone who obviously writes English as a second language, does it put you off? I wonder if there's a market for someone who can figure out a way to help ESL writers to publish more English-standard ads...

Hi ya.

No it doesn't put me off.
I do alot of buisness out of country and their money spends just as good as ours and vice versa.
Besides Ebay is a global market and not all of their members speak english and some are useing (poor)translation programs.
Atleast they are trying to speak english and break into the U.S market and not just their country of origin.
Besides you never know they might be saying the same abought us.

It doesn't put me off, either, though I know people it does. But the shipping fees from places like China do. I wanted badly to buy some jewelry -- six or seven pieces -- from a company in China the other day, but the shipping fee stunned me: $10 for the first item...and $7 for each extra item in the same box! Mind you, we're talking about jewelry pendants that measure less than an inch square! And that wasn't with insurance!
