It is. I love the fact that you can hack those flying robot things and put them on your side. I think its even greater that the minigame to do it is pipe dream; awesome little feature they added to Bioshock.

I love Bioshock.
I think it would have been a bit better had it been harder. Still, awesome game. |

I did enjoy it, and I'm going to play it again to see the good ending (turns out I harvested one too many Little Sister [hey, I needed the ADAM]). However, a few questions remained in my mind whilst playing it;
1) When did I start playing System Shock 2? As Yahtzee pointed out, the game isn't like System Shock 2, it *is* System Shock 2. 2) Where's all the RPG elements? When I think of an FPSRPG, I think of systems like in Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines or Deus Ex. The only thing remotely RPG I could see were the plasmids and genes. Why didn't they have something like skills, where your ability to use or do things are are increased with higher levels? 3) Where's my bloody inventory? Seriously, when I pick up food and bandages, I want to be able to keep them for later. But can I? Nope, gotta use/eat them where I am. Very annoying. 4) Why can't I opt out of the vita-chambers? There were times when I was being as careful as possible in an attempt to not get my **** handed to me and have to get back to where I was. It was during one of these times when I thought, "Well why bother?" Vita-chambers are used automatically even if I don't want to, meaning that dying is just a momentary annoyance. |

BUMP!
Bumping because I've recently began playing through this game again and wanted to hear some more opinions on the game. Also, the prequel is in the works! |

. . No reason? Why is the PC version better? I heard they're almost identical. If anything, the PS3 version looks like it may be better because of it's extended content.
