Theres this one gun called the Hammer of Dawn, and what it does is you paint the ground wherever u are aiming at and fire and this huge **** laser beam comes out of space and blasts the ground where u are pointing and anniahlates whoever is near it, then you can MOVE IT by moving your cross hair over the ground and the laser follows until it dies out. oooomg

I picked it up yesterday, currently in the midst of Act 3. Curb-stomping and chainsawing is pretty sweet.

Yeah man. Do you have an HDTV? Cus wait till you get to Act 4 and youre in the dark forest with the rain...best graphics ive ever seen on any game...hell, better graphics in that part than a lot of TRAILERS ive ever seen...

I have a Sharp Aquos 32" HDTV, just started Act 4. The graphics have generally been steller, better than even Oblivion.

Graphically the best game I have ever seen on a console system. I think it is a very good game though I have a few minor complaints (mostly poor squad movements clinging to walls when you want to sprint and such) it is well worth the purchase though I found the game too short. My friend had the game and it was difficult but still somewhat short even on Insane (I hadnt played it on the lower modes yet but Id assume if was shorter).

This game is absolutely fantastic and Halo 3 is going to have a tough job making a better game than it. I've only played the demo of Gears so far, can't wait till tomorrow when I get the full game.

I purchased the game for 45 bucks (on sale i guess at best buy). And it is the most fun I've had on multiplayer on Xbox Live aside from Halo 2.

Very good game. I am sick of the cheaters in halo 2 so Im just going to play this for a while until Halo 3 comes out.

I think Halo 3 will literally blow gears out of the water.

I bought this game a while ago and even though the single player is incredible and fun to play, I personally dont like the online because it seems as soon as you start, you die within a few minutes and it repeats over and over.

I didn't expect to enjoy this game too much . . .

. . . but now I want a 360 over a Wii and GoW is definitely one of the reasons. Blast some hard rock tunes and play that big screen and damn you have one helluva good time!

I also intially wasnt impressed with the game just like you. It really is a must have.
