Well I suppose it's funny looking back on this post (it was made last December) now that HD-DVD has officially kicked the can...

I've read that there's a possibility Microsoft might try to cut a deal with Sony to make a Blu-ray player for the 360. I found that kind of ironic. I've never heard of a game console gaining support for the competitor's product or format before.
